Death Murder and Mayhem

Not really, but I learned from the popularity of yesterdays post what all journalist know, violence sells.  So I thought I would drag you all back in with a shocking title.

But, what I really want to talk about today does involve blood.  A lot of blood.  So, if your squeamish, I recommend coming back tomorrow when I will talk about something happy and fluffy.

I told you last week that I would give you an update on Husbands surgery, so here goes.

His surgery went well but he didn’t stop bleeding afterward.  He swollowed a lot of blood.  Which he then proceeded to throw up all over.  He did not have a fun time.  They wound up having to take extra measures to get him to stop bleeding.

Then today, almost a week later, he suddenly started bleeding again.  I called the doctor and they got him right in.  So we dragged the girls down to the doctors office (the specialists is kind of far from our house) and got him looked out.  When the Doc couldn’t get his bleeding to stop with what he had available to him in the office he sent us back to the hospital.  So into the ER we went with girls in tow (by the way, I wish that all hospitals had kid play area’s like the one we usually go to).  After much hall wanderings we heard from Husband, they had put this dissolveable foam stuff in to stop the bleeding.  I took the girls back to him and we talked with the doc.

Five hours from the time we left we got back home.

Today was not a fun day.

I’m so sorry about your husband. Thats not good. I hope they can get everything sorted out soon and that the bills are as weird as normal. By the way I will always read your posts whether they involve blood or not.
