The Rain in Spain

The weather here the last few days has reminded me of central Texas.  It’s been VERY humid.  I’ve always liked humidity.  I think it makes the air feel soft.  Most people when I’ve told them that think I’m crazy.

I always liked rain, summer winds, soft snowfalls, and fog.  I guess I’m just a fan of weather.

What’s your favorite type of weather?

Humidity is actually quite nice…IF it’s cool out. If it’s summer then forget it! I’ll take a ‘dry’ heat.

Warm. I don’t like to be cold. This weekend our family went to a movie and I was so happy to leave the cold theater and sit in my sunbaked car. Nice and Toasty!

I’m with you jenny …. I love the rain! It comes in the form of some pretty freak storms out here – but I still love it.

My favorite is rain, but fog comes in second. I like humidity, but only if it’s cool. Heat and moisture make me feel like I’m being parboiled. The only thing I miss about California is the cool, moist coast and the weather that comes in off the ocean bringing the sea-clean, salty smell. There is no smell in the world like a wind-swept coastline and no sight like rocky, sandy expanses growing weather-twisted trees. Maybe that’s why Red Lobster is one of my favorite places – ever so slightly reminiscent of those places.
