Peanut’s Baptism

So Peanut turned eight a few months back.

It was kind of surreal for me in some ways, it’s a big milestone if you are LDS.  Just another in the steady

march to growing up, but somehow it made her feel so old to me.  I’ve been teaching her the discussions this whole last year to prepare her.  That was really fun in a lot of ways, reminding me of my mission and seeing her learn some important Gospel principals.

The day was a really an emotional one for me.  I must admit I cried through most of it.  Here are some pictures of the day.

Walkers and Grandchildren

One thing that was really great is that my parents were able to come.  We didn’t think they would get to so it was really nice to have them there.  Jane's Baptism (2)

We are so happy that we were able to have our wonderful family and friends be there with us.

I just can’t believe she is that old! What a lovely young lady.
